# Dietbox vs SCA Aluno

Dietbox and SCA Aluno both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 72% of SCA Aluno's written reviews are positive against 28% of Dietbox's. SCA Aluno also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Dietbox's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 18) and update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Dietbox against 5.0 for SCA Aluno. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dietbox has 1.2K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 28% of Dietbox's written reviews are positive against 72% of SCA Aluno's.

Dietbox ships an update every 10 days, SCA Aluno monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
