# Dietbox vs Prime App

The clearest difference is ads: Dietbox at none against Prime App's shown. Dietbox also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 32) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). Prime App's advantage is review sentiment (62% vs 28%). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dietbox holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dietbox has 1.2K ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Dietbox's written reviews are positive against 62% of Prime App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dietbox ships an update every 10 days, Prime App every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
