# August Home vs IBRIGHT

The clearest difference is ads: IBRIGHT at none against August Home's shown. IBRIGHT also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.6.1). August Home's advantage is ratings volume (175K vs 236) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

August Home holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: August Home has 175K ratings behind it against 236, so its average is the more settled of the two.
