# Danale IoT vs iSmKit

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Danale IoT at none against iSmKit's 15. Danale IoT also leads on ratings volume (516 vs 31) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). iSmKit's advantage is rating (2.1 vs 1.9). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iSmKit sells 15 one-off in-app purchases. Danale IoT asks for nothing beyond the download.

iSmKit holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Danale IoT has 516 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of Danale IoT's written reviews are positive against 9% of iSmKit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Danale IoT ships an update every 2 months, iSmKit every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
