# Ninja Kitty vs Superstar Detective

The clearest difference is update cadence: Superstar Detective at every 8 days against Ninja Kitty's every 2 months. Superstar Detective also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 92%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Ninja Kitty's advantage is ratings volume (32 vs 5). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ninja Kitty sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Superstar Detective sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Ninja Kitty against 4.8 for Superstar Detective. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ninja Kitty has 32 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 92% of Ninja Kitty's written reviews are positive against 100% of Superstar Detective's.

Ninja Kitty ships an update every 2 months, Superstar Detective every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
