# Ninja Kitty vs ThousandShadow

The clearest difference is rating: Ninja Kitty at 4.7 against ThousandShadow's 3.0. Ninja Kitty also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (28 vs 1). ThousandShadow's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and review sentiment (100% vs 92%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ninja Kitty sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. ThousandShadow asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ninja Kitty holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ninja Kitty has 28 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Ninja Kitty's written reviews are positive against 100% of ThousandShadow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ninja Kitty ships an update every 2 months, ThousandShadow every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
