# ThousandShadow vs Sky Bandit

The clearest difference is rating: Sky Bandit at 4.6 against ThousandShadow's 3.0. Sky Bandit also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (634 vs 1). ThousandShadow's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 61%) and in-app purchases (none vs 10). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sky Bandit sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. ThousandShadow asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sky Bandit holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sky Bandit has 634 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of ThousandShadow's written reviews are positive against 61% of Sky Bandit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ThousandShadow ships an update every 13 months, Sky Bandit every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
