# FanimeCon vs Questor

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FanimeCon at none against Questor's 1. FanimeCon also leads on ratings volume (105 vs 1). Questor's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Questor sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. FanimeCon asks for nothing beyond the download.

Questor holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FanimeCon has 105 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FanimeCon ships an update every 2 months, Questor every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
