# FanimeCon vs Boletoss

The clearest difference is update cadence: Boletoss at every 4 days against FanimeCon's every 2 months. Boletoss also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). FanimeCon's advantage is ratings volume (105 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Boletoss holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FanimeCon has 105 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FanimeCon ships an update every 2 months, Boletoss every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
