# The Eagle 93.7 vs Optimum TV

The clearest difference is review sentiment: The Eagle 93.7 at 100% against Optimum TV's 23%. Optimum TV's advantage is ratings volume (26K vs 3) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Optimum TV holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Optimum TV has 26K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of The Eagle 93.7's written reviews are positive against 23% of Optimum TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The Eagle 93.7 ships an update every 5 months, Optimum TV every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
