# The Eagle 93.7 vs Optimum

The Eagle 93.7 and Optimum both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of The Eagle 93.7's written reviews are positive against 15% of Optimum's. Optimum's advantage is ratings volume (28K vs 3) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Optimum holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Optimum has 28K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of The Eagle 93.7's written reviews are positive against 15% of Optimum's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The Eagle 93.7 ships an update every 5 months, Optimum every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on September 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
