# Advanced Manufacturing vs BNEA

The clearest difference is ads: BNEA at none against Advanced Manufacturing's shown. BNEA also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Advanced Manufacturing's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Advanced Manufacturing against 5.0 for BNEA. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Advanced Manufacturing has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Advanced Manufacturing ships an update every 2 months, BNEA every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
