# PosteID vs MyCartaBCC

The clearest difference is rating: PosteID at 4.7 against MyCartaBCC's 4.2. PosteID also leads on ratings volume (4.6K vs 16). MyCartaBCC's advantage is review sentiment (49% vs 18%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PosteID holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PosteID has 4.6K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of PosteID's written reviews are positive against 49% of MyCartaBCC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PosteID ships an update every 3 weeks, MyCartaBCC every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
