# SparqGo vs AMTConnect

The clearest difference is rating: SparqGo at 4.9 against AMTConnect's 4.3. SparqGo also leads on ratings volume (6.2K vs 6) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). AMTConnect's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SparqGo holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SparqGo has 6.2K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SparqGo ships an update every 2 months, AMTConnect every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
