# ACT Prep & Test vs ACT Prep

The clearest difference is update cadence: ACT Prep & Test at every 3 months against ACT Prep's every 7 months. ACT Prep & Test also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ACT Prep & Test sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ACT Prep sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
