# Birmingham CC vs Contractory

The clearest difference is monetization model: Birmingham CC at free against Contractory's ad-supported. Contractory's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Birmingham CC against 5.0 for Contractory. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Contractory has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Birmingham CC ships an update monthly, Contractory fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
