# Real vs Street View

The clearest difference is rating: Real at 4.0 against Street View's 2.8. Real also leads on chart position (#12 vs unranked) and ratings volume (310 vs 52). Street View's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Real holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Real has 310 ratings behind it against 52, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 2% of Real's written reviews are positive against 11% of Street View's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Real ships an update every 2 weeks, Street View every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
