# Real vs NAV

The clearest difference is rating: NAV at 5.0 against Real's 3.9. NAV also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Real's advantage is ratings volume (312 vs 5) and chart position (#10 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NAV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Real has 312 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Real ships an update every 2 weeks, NAV every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
