# OLM vs GlobalSpeak

The clearest difference is review sentiment: OLM at 25% against GlobalSpeak's 0%. OLM also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). GlobalSpeak's advantage is rating (2.4 vs 2.1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OLM sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and GlobalSpeak sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GlobalSpeak holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 2.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of OLM's written reviews are positive against 0% of GlobalSpeak's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OLM ships an update weekly, GlobalSpeak every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
