# Wispr Flow vs Scriben

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scriben at daily against Wispr Flow's weekly. Scriben also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 83%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.3). Wispr Flow's advantage is ratings volume (19K vs 4) and chart position (#40 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wispr Flow sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days and Scriben sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scriben holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wispr Flow has 19K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Wispr Flow ships an update weekly, Scriben daily. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
