# Wispr Flow vs MD Flow

The clearest difference is monetization model: MD Flow at free against Wispr Flow's free with in-app purchases. MD Flow also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 82%) and device support (3 vs 1). Wispr Flow's advantage is ratings volume (18K vs 1) and chart position (#40 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wispr Flow sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days and MD Flow sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MD Flow holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wispr Flow has 18K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
