# PicNav vs Mycel

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mycel at every 3 weeks against PicNav's every 9 months. PicNav's advantage is iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PicNav sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Mycel sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
