# Brain AI vs Thinky

The clearest difference is rating: Brain AI at 4.7 against Thinky's 4.2. Brain AI also leads on ratings volume (268 vs 5). Thinky's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brain AI sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Thinky sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brain AI holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brain AI has 268 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Brain AI ships an update every 3 weeks, Thinky every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
