# Grailzee vs IcyBox

Grailzee and IcyBox both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 81% of Grailzee's written reviews are positive against 50% of IcyBox's. IcyBox's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (8.5K vs 185). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Grailzee against 4.3 for IcyBox. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IcyBox has 8.5K ratings behind it against 185, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 81% of Grailzee's written reviews are positive against 50% of IcyBox's.

Grailzee ships an update fortnightly, IcyBox every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
