# NFC vs Deepwave Diver

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: NFC at none against Deepwave Diver's 5. NFC also leads on ads (none vs shown). Deepwave Diver's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 8 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Deepwave Diver sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. NFC asks for nothing beyond the download.

NFC ships an update every 8 months, Deepwave Diver every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
