# Time Battle War vs Square Warriors

The clearest difference is rating: Square Warriors at 4.5 against Time Battle War's 2.8. Square Warriors also leads on ratings volume (657 vs 25). Time Battle War's advantage is review sentiment (41% vs 20%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time Battle War sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Square Warriors sells 25 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Square Warriors holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Square Warriors has 657 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Time Battle War's written reviews are positive against 20% of Square Warriors's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
