# Wishew vs Rex

The clearest difference is rating: Rex at 5.0 against Wishew's 4.1. Rex also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). Wishew's advantage is ratings volume (144 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.7 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wishew sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Rex asks for nothing beyond the download.

Rex holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wishew has 144 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wishew ships an update monthly, Rex every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
