# Print vs AI Note Taker

Print and AI Note Taker both sit at 4.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Print's written reviews are positive against 0% of AI Note Taker's. Print also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). AI Note Taker's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (62 vs 5). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Print sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and AI Note Taker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Note Taker holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Note Taker has 62 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Print's written reviews are positive against 0% of AI Note Taker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Print ships an update weekly, AI Note Taker every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
