# 7III Tap vs MusePad

The clearest difference is update cadence: MusePad at every 3 days against 7III Tap's fortnightly. MusePad also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). 7III Tap's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 7III Tap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MusePad sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MusePad holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 7III Tap has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

7III Tap ships an update fortnightly, MusePad every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
