# ThenThat vs Dote

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dote at every 10 days against ThenThat's every 4 months. Dote also leads on iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). ThenThat's advantage is device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ThenThat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ThenThat ships an update every 4 months, Dote every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
