# RouteMate ELD vs DealerBoost

The clearest difference is update cadence: DealerBoost at every 3 weeks against RouteMate ELD's every 4 months. RouteMate ELD's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RouteMate ELD ships an update every 4 months, DealerBoost every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
