# MoodTalker vs Patchiverse

The clearest difference is ratings volume: MoodTalker at 509 against Patchiverse's 1. MoodTalker also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Patchiverse's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MoodTalker sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Patchiverse sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Patchiverse holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MoodTalker has 509 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MoodTalker ships an update every 9 days, Patchiverse weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
