# Drybaby vs HoopQueue

The clearest difference is rating: HoopQueue at 5.0 against Drybaby's 3.9. HoopQueue also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). Drybaby's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (16 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HoopQueue holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drybaby has 16 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of Drybaby's written reviews are positive against 100% of HoopQueue's.

Drybaby ships an update monthly, HoopQueue every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
