# Bera Reader vs Batten

The clearest difference is device support: Bera Reader at 3 against Batten's 1. Bera Reader also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bera Reader sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Batten sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
