# Goat Maps vs Glassing Maps

The clearest difference is monetization model: Goat Maps at freemium against Glassing Maps's subscription. Goat Maps also leads on ratings volume (51 vs 3) and iOS requirement (17.4 vs 26.0). Glassing Maps's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 76%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Goat Maps sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per year and Glassing Maps sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Glassing Maps holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6.
