# Telos vs BrainMail

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BrainMail at 100% against Telos's 62%. BrainMail also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Telos's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (42 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Telos sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and BrainMail sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BrainMail holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Telos has 42 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of Telos's written reviews are positive against 100% of BrainMail's.

Telos ships an update every 6 days, BrainMail every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
