# Play vs REC+

The clearest difference is update cadence: REC+ at every 4 days against Play's every 2 weeks. Play's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 3). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Play against 5.0 for REC+. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 3 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Play ships an update every 2 weeks, REC+ every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
