Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Jotted at 2.9 against TeraTV's 1.3. Jotted also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 weeks). TeraTV's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (25% vs 0%). On price, monetization model, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jotted sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. TeraTV asks for nothing beyond the download.
Jotted holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jotted has 17 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of TeraTV's written reviews are positive against 0% of Jotted's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
TeraTV ships an update every 3 weeks, Jotted every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
