# 书影有鉴 vs Collector

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Collector at none against 书影有鉴's 3. Collector also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 months) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 书影有鉴 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Collector asks for nothing beyond the download.

Collector holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Collector has 16 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

书影有鉴 ships an update every 3 months, Collector every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
