# TaskClosure vs Vanishing Tasks

The clearest difference is update cadence: TaskClosure at every 2 days against Vanishing Tasks's every 9 days. TaskClosure also leads on device support (6 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TaskClosure sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.29 per month and Vanishing Tasks sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TaskClosure ships an update every 2 days, Vanishing Tasks every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
