# FlickerFlame vs Teleprompter

The clearest difference is ads: FlickerFlame at none against Teleprompter's shown. FlickerFlame also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). Teleprompter's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlickerFlame sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Teleprompter sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlickerFlame ships an update every 3 months, Teleprompter weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
