# Minigoal vs Planbook

The clearest difference is monetization model: Minigoal at free against Planbook's freemium. Planbook's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Minigoal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Planbook sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Planbook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 5 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 98% and 98% positive.

Minigoal ships an update every 3 days, Planbook every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
