# Minigoal vs Orbital Focus

The clearest difference is monetization model: Minigoal at free against Orbital Focus's free with in-app purchases. Minigoal also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks) and review sentiment (98% vs 89%). Orbital Focus's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Minigoal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Orbital Focus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Orbital Focus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 98% of Minigoal's written reviews are positive against 89% of Orbital Focus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Minigoal ships an update every 3 days, Orbital Focus every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
