# SwimNow vs Swimerize

The clearest difference is update cadence: SwimNow at every 5 days against Swimerize's every 6 weeks. SwimNow also leads on ratings volume (44 vs 4). Swimerize's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 77%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SwimNow sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year and Swimerize sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for SwimNow against 5.0 for Swimerize. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SwimNow has 44 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of SwimNow's written reviews are positive against 100% of Swimerize's.

SwimNow ships an update every 5 days, Swimerize every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
