# PicMe vs Once

The clearest difference is rating: Once at 4.7 against PicMe's 3.9. Once also leads on review sentiment (71% vs 33%) and ratings volume (702 vs 15). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PicMe sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Once sells 18 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Once holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Once has 702 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of PicMe's written reviews are positive against 71% of Once's.

PicMe ships an update every 10 days, Once every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
