# Capy Notes vs CapyFocus

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Capy Notes at none against CapyFocus's 3. Capy Notes also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). CapyFocus's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CapyFocus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Capy Notes asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Capy Notes against 5.0 for CapyFocus. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Capy Notes has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Capy Notes ships an update every 6 weeks, CapyFocus every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on June 8, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
