# MACA and RONI vs Matching Diary

MACA and RONI and Matching Diary both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of MACA and RONI's written reviews are positive against 17% of Matching Diary's. Matching Diary's advantage is ratings volume (170 vs 31) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MACA and RONI sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and Matching Diary sells 18 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for MACA and RONI against 4.7 for Matching Diary. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Matching Diary has 170 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 80% of MACA and RONI's written reviews are positive against 17% of Matching Diary's.
