# MSR Control vs Tagrity

The clearest difference is rating: Tagrity at 5.0 against MSR Control's 4.2. Tagrity also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). MSR Control's advantage is ratings volume (73 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MSR Control sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Tagrity asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tagrity holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MSR Control has 73 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
