# Breggz vs DB12

The clearest difference is update cadence: DB12 at every 2 months against Breggz's every 4 months. DB12 also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Breggz ships an update every 4 months, DB12 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
