# Secret World App vs Extro

The clearest difference is rating: Secret World App at 4.2 against Extro's 3.0. Secret World App also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (15 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secret World App sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $99.99 per month and Extro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Secret World App holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Secret World App has 15 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Secret World App ships an update weekly, Extro fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
